Parked on double yellow lines with double yellow pavement markings, meaning no loading or waiting at any time. Blocking the pavement, meaning anyone with a buggy or using a wheelchair would have to go into the road.

The car was parked on double yellows, half on the pavement and close to the junction. It was difficult for pedestrians to pass and traffic had to go into oncoming lane to pass very close to the junction.

The taxi had no occupants and was parked less than 1m from the junction facing the wrong direction. Cars were overtaking by being in the wrong lane at the junction. Arriving and leaving from this position is hazardous.

Lots of pedestrians move along this stretch and there is already cycle parking and some planters. Inconsiderate parking, fullstop. Also damage to the pavement which already is not in great shape and a oroblem for walk frames, wheelchairs, pushchairs.

Normally this car blocks parts or the whole pavement, this time it's parked along with three others on the same part of the pavement. This time they also blocked traffic at an already congested time. Dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians. This is a constant problem on this part of the pavement! Looks like the business owners park there regularly, it's usually the same cars.

Parked by corner of Mawson Road /Mill Rd on right hand side of road across pavement, cycle lane and yellow lines with no loading at any time. So bikes would have to go into single track road facing the wrong way! Obscures view for people crossing Mawson Rd to continue along Mill Rd.

Parked partly on narrow pavement, partly over double yellows with no loading at any time on Devonshire Road close to junction with Mill Road. So difficult for pedestrians to get past (yet dangerous to go on road here as by busy junction) and car is partly blocking junction so overtaking cars need to go onto right hand lane just where vehicles or bikes turning into Dev Rd will be coming straight at you, without having been able to see far ahead.

It toot place on the 25th no the 24th. I couldn't pick that date. It looked like the driver was going into the Moda barbers as parked right outside. I was walking up the pavement pushing a broken bike in the gutter and was forced to walk into the road with my daughter as there wasn't enough space for us both and the bike on the pavement.

The driver chose to park half in the pavement close to the end of Catherine St to visit the Co-op. The Co-op has a free car park behind that had available spaces. Instead they illegally parked on double yellows with a double dash to indicate no stopping at any time. Parking this close to the junction causes hazards for other road users. Mounting the pavement makes it difficult for pedestrians.

The van substantially narrowed the available pavement space in the area, which is already narrowed by the supermarket's (NIP-IN's) outside stands. This van is often present here - I believe it is associated with the business, but it was certainly not loading or unloading, it was there well in excess of 5 minutes. The positioning is particularly egregious due to how close it is to a bus stop, which can itself be busy - so there are two bottlenecks for pedestrian traffic next to one another.

The car is very large and takes up part the pavement. Wheelchairs and prams cannot pass on the pavement but have to go on to the road. I saw this car in this place, obstructing the pavement, several times in summer 2023, outside the salon at 215 Mill Road.

This junction (crossing from Kingston to Devonshire across mill rd) is already dangerous for pedestrians & cyclists as the curve of the road & the pub make it difficult to see oncoming traffic from the city. Parking down from the pub completely blocks the thin footpath on this side of mill rd makes it impossible to see traffic. I should add that I was crossing with my baby and the van’s passenger leant out of his window as he went past to intimidate me, ‘you take a picture? You like that?’

Parked part on very narrow pavement at top of Devonshire Road next to junction with Mill Road, on double yellows with double yellow strips on kerb, so no loading allowed at any time of day. Difficult to get past on pavement without going on road and difficult for drivers going north as had to pull into right hand side of road just before junction but cannot see to the right. So dangerous.

Parked part on Mill Road, part on pavement at busy time of day when plenty of pedestrians around so more difficult to pass on pavement. In addition, parking not wholly on the road means there can be just enough road for 2 cars to pass in opposite direction, meaning that bikes get squeezed off roadway. It’s far safer if they fully park on road so only one vehicle can pass at a time and cyclists overtaking the van do not get overtaken so closely by vehicles.

Parked on pavement blocking pedestrian, pushchair and wheelchair access. Rode suddenly and without indication onto pavement causing danger to unsuspecting pedestrians, especially children. No longer safe advice for children or adults to merely stay on the pavement. Pedestrians in Cambridge increasingly find it is more dangerous to enjoy a carefree walk on the pavement than it is to be alert when crossing the road.

Taxi going eastbound witnessed driving across opposite (westbound) lane to mount pavement, crossing raised kerb and double yellow line to park completely on pavement. Driver witnessed getting out of vehicle to enter nearby shop (Spice Gate). Taxi was parked on pavement for approximately ten minutes, at which point driver re-entered (without passengers) and cut across oncoming (westbound) traffic to rejoin eastbound journey. Extremely dangerous and illegal driving behaviour.

Yet another Amazon van parked on the pavement and this one was in a very dangerous position, parallel to the zig-zag lines immediately after a zebra crossing by The Cam Foundry, so dangerous for people to use the crossing as the van was obstructing the view of pedestrians. Taxi parked illegally on pavement and double yellow line outside Spice Gate, causing obstruction to pedestrians and traffic alike. Driver not in vehicle. Taxi parked unattended for at least 20 minutes – I entered Arjuna at 15.20 and it was still there when I came out. Shocking and thoughtless behaviour, why does the council allow this to happen?

Driver was in vehicle but this is the zigzig zone for the pelican crossing so no stopping for any reason. Further he was just after temporary lights for road works. The cars on the opposite side are waiting for a green light.

Parked at 45 degrees across pavement blocking access for pedestrians. Prevented people including family with buggy passing. Rear of car extended into road causing cyclists and cars to do towards centre of road to pass. Driver had purchased a drink, which they had in their hand and attempted to reverse hitting a passing vehicle. Hit car stopped to check for damage, though there was none as their tire and rubber bumper was point of impact. Driver of S77 XXY did not leave their car.

As the photo hopefully depicts, cars parked at that particular point means that there is only room for pedestrians to walk in one direction which when you've just crossed the road is very dangerous. As you can see the vehicle is fully mounted on the pavement which they regularly are at that part of Mill Road.
